Datsun Bluebird Emblems
The Bluebird came with quite an array of emblems from the front grille to the rear panel and a bunch in between.
Grille Emblems
SSS - Triple "S" with the checkered flag in the background. On the 1600sss trims level coupes and sedans.
1800sss - On cars that were 1800sss trim with the L18 engine under the hood.
BLUEBIRD - Only on 4 door SSS cars.
SPORTS - Not sure what cars this came on. Might have come on a lower trim level than the SSS trim.
Side Emblems
Coupe - Both the 1600sss and the 1800sss models got this emblem on the sides. The major difference is that the 1800sss had an additional "1800" emblem to the right of the "Coupe" emblem. The 16000sss had a Supersonic badge next to the coupe badge.
Supersonic - Came along side the "Coupe" badge in front of the rear wheels. Another version of the Supersonic badge came on 4 door models only.
1800 - small badges that came along side the "Coupe" badge on the 1800sss coupe model only.
Interior Emblems
Bluebird - Plastic badge on the glove box with silver checkered flag went on the Coupes. The sedans got the Bluebird badge with the 2 red vertical lines.
1800sss - this badge was affixed to the center console of the 1800sss coupes.
SSS - These triple "S" emblems went on the door panels of the 1800sss coupes only.
Rear Panel Emblems
The rear panel of all the Coupes came with the same font cursive coupe badge that are on the sides, but a larger size on the rear panel.
1600sss - Both coupe sedans and 2 doors had this optional badge This happens to be an early version with more red squares in the checkered flag. Rear
1800sss - Both coupe and sedans had this badge on the rear. The difference being that the Coupe had it on the rear panel while the sedans had it on the deck lid.
Supersonic Emblem - this is a very rare option badge. It only came on the coupes and was attached to the center of the taillights. Rear
