Information specific to the Bluebird

The Bluebird Coupe as far as we know was sold only in Japan and South Africa. The Bluebird Coupe was not offered in Europe or USA although the Bluebird name was utilized in other countries.
Model Years
1968 - this year is the first year the Bluebird was produced in Japan. Probably late in 1968 was when the Bluebird was manufactured. Only year with the cowl vertical antenna. This year had a unique dashboard specific only to this year.
1969 - Transition year. Nissan evolved parts to better the car this year.
1970 - Both 1600cc and 1800cc engines were offered this year, but the first year the 1800cc engine was released. First year for KH510.
1971 - this is the last year that the KP510 coupe was produced and sold and the 2nd year the (KH510 trim)1800cc engine was offered. The 1800cc engine bumped Hp up to 115 from the 109 on the 1600cc engine.
1972 - this year only the 4 door sedan and 2 door sedan was offered making the familiar 2 door sedan quite rare in Japan.
1973 - This year marks the change of a new grill and taillight design. Only 4 door, 2 door sedan and wagons (van in Japan) versions were available.

Sedan - Three box design we have here in the US for both 2 and 4 door.
Wagon - Here is a RHD wagon
